WAATA is organised, run and managed by practising teacher assistants.
Our prime objective is to provide professional learning programmes that enable our members to develop personally and professionally in order to more effectively contribute to the betterment of education.

Welcome to the beginning of Conference 2010

Our chosen theme for conference this year is Friendship. What better way to continue friendships than to come to conference, renew old friendships and make new ones.

In our endeavours to find interesting presenters to whet your appetites,
we would like to announce that Sally Morgan,
the author of “My Place” has consented to be our plenary speaker.

Although we have a small conference organising committee this year, consisting of early childhood Education Assistants, middle/upper school Education Assistant and a High School Special Needs Assistant, we will do our utmost to find the best presenters to give you an interesting and informative conference weekend.
